Opening tops.-In road vehicles having closed bodies in which the roof is provided with substantial apertures adapted to be closed by removable lids, the roof is provided with three apertures A, A<2>, A<3> normally closed by three lids B, B<2>, B<3>, which are interconnected by links C so that any one or two apertures may be uncovered and the lids superimposed as shown. A swing spring bolt D may be provided to secure the lids when superimposed and securing means are provided for fastening each lid in its aperture. The links may be connected to various parts along the lengths of the lids.
