Abstract

197,189. Davis, R. H. May 4, 1922. Respirators.-A mask a of impermeable fabric is arranged to make an airtight joint around the whole of the face of the wearer. An outer mask c of solid or sponge rubber is adapted to form an airtight joint around the nose and mouth, the two masks being connected, and the usual valve and inlet pipe being provided. Separate sets of straps g, h are used for the outer and inner masks, enabling the eyes to be uncovered while still retaining the air-tight joint around the inner mask c.
