Abstract
195,426. Turner, W. de C., and Cox, C. Nov. 28, 1921. Leaf holders and turners.-A casing 1 is provided with swing clips 2 for attachment to a music rest &c., and with a number of spring arms 5 which are attached by a screw 5<b> to a cylindrical post 3 within the casing and work in an horizontal slot. The free ends of the arms 5 are oval in cross-section and carry clips 8 with felt buffers, the clips 8 being interleaved as usual. A trigger 9 resting on a compression spring 12 and provided with a detent 11 which normally retains the arms 5 in position is pivoted at 6a to a bar 13 attached by screws to a flat 4 of the post .9. To the rear end of the bar 13 is pivoted at 6b a bar 7 which is pivoted at 6 to the rear end of the trigger 10. The parts are disposed so that the detent end 10 of the bar 7 rests normally behind and below the outermost turning arm. When the trigger is depressed and the outermost arm 5 is released, the bar 7 moves up and retains the remaining arms 5 in place.
