Transmission gear of invariable ratio. - In toothed driving-gear for automobiles, a double bevel wheel 3, 4 with straight or double helical teeth and formed in two parts, which are connected by spring cushioning-means 6, drives the differential 15 and is engaged by a bevel wheel 2 on a driving shaft 13 and by a similar wheel 1 on a shaft 9 geared to the shaft 13 by spur or double helical wheels 7. Correct meshing is ensured by the use of a thrust bearing 20 and of spacing- sleeves 11, 12 and a collar 10.
