Abstract

193,093. Mumford, Ltd., A. G., and Boothroyd, A. W. Oct. 17, 1921. Valve gear.-The fuel valve 1 is operated by a cam-actuated rocker 11, which may project from the casing at one or both ends. When the rocker projects at one end only, provision is made for taking up the thrust due, to the oil pressure. Or the rocker may be situated outside the casing. A return spring may be provided for the rocker. The valve may be lifted by a spherical-ended tension member in place of the compression member 15.
