Abstract

192,952. Brown, T. W. March 9, 1922. Spring devices.-In a spring seat support for motor-cycles &c., leaf springs G, attached at their thick rear ends to a cross-piece F upon the rigid L-shaped seat pillar E, are connected at the front ends to an adjustable transverse bearer upon an horizontal seat-supporting bar A which is pivoted to the cycle frame at its forward end and is adapted to carry the saddle at its rear end. The fulcrum end of the bar A is slotted to allow the bar to pivot and move upon a live roller C surrounding a bush and a bolt passing through the fork of the split clip D upon the frame.
