Stretching tubular goods upon internal cores or frames.-Tubular fabrics, such as those produced in circular knitting-machines, are stretched and delivered in a stretched state to calendering-apparatus C, D by means of an internal stretcher A provided at its ends with antifriction wheels and having integral therewith a flexible flap H of the same width as the stretcher. The stretcher is held in position by a roller B<1> and an adjustable roller B acted upon by springs &c.
