[Cognate Application, 696/16.] Turning.-The tool slides b of a rotary tool head are fed by screws k engaged by nuts j driven from a toothed annulus f. The screws have a fine thread m engaging the clamp o connected to the slide, to provide for hand adjustment of the tools relatively to one another. In a modification, the screws are driven by the annulus, and the nuts have a worm and wheel for hand adjustment. The gearing is located at the back of the tool head within a flange.
