9107. Abraham, G. W. June 21. Breech actions, movable-barrel other than dropdown; firing - appliances applicable generally; barrels.-Consists of a gun for use at short ranges, having a number of short barrels adapted to be discharged in quick succession by a single pull of the trigger. The barrels 2 are bored in a block 1 which slides laterally into a breech-block 10. The barrel block 1 is slightly curved to cause the barrels to diverge. The firing-mechanism comprises a hammer 5, Fig. 3, a percussion-cap chamber 17, and a duct 16 connecting the percussion chamber to the breech-ends of all the barrels. The weapon may be held by a single pistol grip, as shown in Fig. 1, or by two pistol grips 22, 23, as shown in plan in Fig. 5.
