Abstract
4626. Benjamin, P. H. March 24. Disk wheels.-The wheel disk 1, Fig. 2, 1<a>, Fig. 4, is secured between wood &c. packing 4, 5 clamped by the hub flanges 2, 3. In Fig. 2, the disk is shown plain and the rim 9 bolted thereto, an auxiliary rim 13 being secured through dished plates 16. In Fig. 4, the disk is shown dished at 1<b>, the auxiliary rim 13<a> being secured by a dished ring 16<a>. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 4725/12.
