Abstract

598. Krupp Akt.-Ges. Germaniawerft, F. Dec. 13, 1913, [ConvÚntion date]. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-In order to prevent liquid fuel from being forced into the injection-air reservoir G on a fall of the pressure therein, such a fall of pressure effects the cutting- off of the fuel supply to the fuel pump C by enabling the pressure in the cylinder acting upon a piston in the cylinder K to force it to the left and close a cock H. A spring may be used in the cylinder K in place of the cylinder pressure, or the valve H may be merely released by the fall of the injection air pressure and close automatically. A diaphragm may be used instead of the piston in the cylinder K.
