Abstract

122,988. Tangyes, Ltd., and Robson, J. June 19, 1918. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel. - The fuel injection valve 10 is opened by a light spring 13 when the stress of a heavier spring 4 is removed by a lever 26 or by the pressure of the fuel upon the plunger 2. The nozzle shown is constructed to supply a heavy fuel through the pipe 19 and a starting fuel through the pipe 28, but the two fuels may be supplied by different nozzles, one or both of which may have valves constructed according to the invention. The chamber 6 may have a safety-valve.
