Systems for continuous current motors only.-The speed of a motor 2 is controlled for constant speed by means of an automatic regulator 9 with an operating-coil connected to an auxiliary dynamo 10 excited by a series coil 11. This dynamo is on the motor shaft, and the regulated resistance 8 is in the exciting-circuit of the generator 4 supplying the motor. The resistance 12 in the actuating- circuit of the regulator can be adjusted for particular motor speeds.
