[Addition to 15,397/13.] Davits.-In the arrangement described in the parent Specification, 'an arm h is provided which, when the davit a has been operated, engages a rope e attached at its ends to an arm f and drum b on the davits g, a respectively. By this means, the davit g is swung out after the davit a has first been turned into its outboard position. A second arm similar to the arm h but at 180 degrees from it may also be provided for turning the davits inboard.
