Abstract

19,192. White, J. C., and St. Helens Cable and Rubber Co. Aug. 28. [Addition to 22,198/13.] Junction boxes.-Relates to a wall box having the characteristic features of the junction box described in the parent Specification, viz., the cables are led directly from an exposed position through a U-shaped or sinuous path into the box. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the box 1 is provided with lugs 2 for securing to the wall and providing a space for the cables which pass over the curved part of an inner inverted box 3 and are bent up within. The box 3 may be divided into compartments for groups of cables, and the lid 5 is secured in any suitable manner as by a pin 6. The box is filled with sealing-composition to a suitable height.
