Junction-boxes.-A connexion box for the simplification of electric wiring comprise a base of porcelain &c. provided with feet b so that it may rest above the cables, holes u in the base for the cables, and metal contact blocks secured to the base having longitudinal and transverse holes l, m in which the wires may be clamped so that a variety of connexion combinations may be obtained. Diametrically-opposed openings e, f may be formed in a cover d for the admission of electric wires also.
