Integrating.-A feeler j, brought periodically into contact with a graduated cam o positioned by the measuring-instrument in order that its movement may be transmitted to the counter, is connected to the disk f, driving the counter, on its upward stroke only, connexion being effected by a friction clutch comprising a spring c, which presses the disk into contact with pillars h carried by the feeler. Normally, the disk is retracted by arms b carried on a shaft b<1>, the movements of which are controlled by a cam g on a clock-driven shaft l through a spring-controlled arm b<2>. Movement is imparted to the feeler by a cam k, and to a braking-arm q for the cam shaft by a, cam l<1> on the shaft l. The cam o may be positioned from the measuring-instrument through a flexible transmission device, and a dash-pot z may be provided. Specification 22,370/12 is referred to.
