Rotary machines; inking-apparatus. - Stockings or other knitted goods are printed on both sides simultaneously by stretching the stocking &c. on to a resilient mould and passing it between a pair of intaglio printing - rollers. The stocking &c. W is stretched on a mould made of linoleum or other resilient material and laid upon a feedtable T fixed to a frame G, which is reciprocated towards and away from the printing-rollers Z<1>, Z2 by means of a mutilated toothed wheel'on the axle of the roller Z2 alternately engaging racks on the upper and lower members of the frame G. The stocking &c. is conducted from the cylinders by a web E. Each of the cylinders is provided with a colour-supplying apparatus S adjustable by a screw S<1>, and a wiping- device R.
