12,932. Schubert &. Salzer Maschinenfabrik Akt.-Ges. May 9, [Convention date]. Knitting, methods of. - Comprises improvements in the production of fashioned knitted fabrics. To enable loops to be transferred through a distance of two or more needle spaces at a time, a line of covering-points a, c, d, e, f is employed to transfer the loops 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, no covering-point being provided for the loop 2. By proceeding in this manner, the large gap that would otherwise have been produced at each transfer is bridged by the untransferred loop such as 2 and the transferred loop such as 1. Fig. 4 shows the method used when loops are to be transferred through three needle spaces.
