9125. Birmingham Small Arms Co., and Cooper, S. April 11. Detaching from, and attaching to, permanent hubs.-In detachable wheels comprising an outer hub member 4, Fig. 1, held on an inner permanent hub member 1 by a nut 3 screwed on the end of the inner hub member or on the axle, the nut is locked by a second nut 9 with a thread of opposite hand and, preferably, of smaller pitch. The second nut 9 may be held against loss by a split spring 12 secured in a groove in the outer face of the nut by a plate 13 and adapted to engage a groove in the end of the inner hub member or axle.
