Abstract

Multiple-delivery piston pumps; eccentric-actuated pumps; stroke, varying.-A series of lubricating- pumps Bare grouped around a stem D<5> working in a hollow portion A' of the oil container, and are reciprocated by an eccentric E<1> working in a slot formed in a head D cast integrally with the stem D<5>. The down-stroke of each plunger C<2> is effected by a separately adjustable tappet D<2>, and the upstroke is effected by a flange D<7> engaging with recesses formed on the sleeves C<3>, which co-operate with the plungers C<2>. The upper surface of the eccentric E' engages with a screw plug F', which can be adjusted to take up wear. A strainer A<2>, cleaning-plug A<5>, and steam heating-pipe (not shown) are provided.
