Mountings; embrasure joints.-Relates to the mounting of machine guns on air-craft, and consists in mounting the gun so that it projects through a gap in the fuselage B of the .air-craft, which gap is closed by an hemispherical bullet-proof shield and wind-screen C attached by a bracket C<1> to the water jacket A of the gun. The cross-head A<2> of the gun mounting is carried by a socket A<4> attached by brackets A<5> to a part of the fuselage. Clamping-devices are provided for holding the gun and shield at any elevation or training angle.
