Incandescent gas and vapour burners.-In an inverted burner having practically no external air supply and in which part of the internal air supply is drawn in by the gas jet and part by the draft of the flue acting on the mixing- tube, an intermediate tube h projects into the mixing-tube e at its inlet end opposite the nipple d, and additional air is drawn into the space surrounding the tube h through pipes f from the space between the flue and the casing.
