21,332. Taylor, C. W. A. Sept. 22. Pulley - blocks. -The cross strap L of a pulleyblock is recessed at its centre A to receive the vertical strap F, and the parts are held together by a central bolt E, the cross - section of which is greater in vertical than in horizontal dimension, in order that the corresponding holes in the vertical strap F may not unduly weaken it. The sheave runs on a sleeve fitting around the bolt E. The vertical and cross straps may each be formed of separate side members connected at their ends by bolts.
