19,656. Bugatti, E. Aug. 30. Deflectable axle-ends.-The ends of the main part of a tubular steering-axle are split and opened to form the fork a<1>, as shown in Figs. 1 and 4. The bearing-piece, shown in Figs. 3 and 6, for the swivelling axle end, is then introduced into the fork, the arms a' are pressed down upon it, and the parts are secured together by brazing, welding, or the like.
