Abstract

20,263. Sonnet, H. Sept. 5. Chaplets are made from a ribbed metal blank by slitting as shown at 1 ... 12, Fig. 2, bending on either side of the part a<1>, and twisting through 180 degrees to the form shown in Fig. 4. The portions a, a<11> are bent through a right-angle in opposite directions, and twists are made resulting in the form shown in Fig. 6. Final bends yield the finished chaplet shown in Fig. 7. Chaplets with one, two, and four studs and chaplets of angular formation are also shown.
