Abstract
18,440. Coffin, A. A. Dec. 28, 1912, [Convention date]. Stops.-A door stop comprises a plate 1 pivoted, preferably by a screw 3, to the floor and provided with an upstanding projection 2 adapted to engage the face of the door to limit its opening movement, the position of the stop being such that when the door is closed or nearly closed, the stop can be swung on its pivot clear of the door to render it inoperative. To lock the door in closed position, a block 5, Fig. 2, preferably of wood, is inserted between the projection 2 and the face of the door.
