[Published under Section 91 of the Act.] Filaments; filaments, supports for.--A metal filament is arranged between a number of supports each of which is provided with two hooks insulated by a glass connecting-bead or the like, Fig. 1, or by a flange 3, Fig. 3, on the stem, and a set of lower supports having single hooks. The filament may pass in succession under a lower hook, over an upper outer hook, and then horizontally to the inner hook of the next upper support, before reaching the next lower hook.
