Abstract

Filaments, supports for.-Tungsten &c. filaments are supported in beads l, of white or coloured glass, fused on to the ends of elastic metal anchors carried by the usual glass stem f; the inner ends of the anchors may be twisted into a rod n. The anchors are sufficiently elastic to allow the filaments to expand and contract should the beads fuse during the operation of the lamp.
