Tyre-inflating valves. -A valve for pneumatic tyres comprises a stem c fitted with a nut d and terminating in a conical head b having a groove f in which a rubber packing g engages. The casing of the valve is formed with a seat l for the valve g and with guidegrooves e for the nut d. A screw cap h is provided with a washer m and a pin i for pressing the valve off its seat. Reference. has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 22,158/99, [Class 144, Wheels &c.], and 783/10.
