11,100. Hilding, E. A. July 30. Tyre and like inflating valves.-A tyre valve has an elastic valve member m held between the lower part of the casing and a head k formed on a ported tubular member h. The outer end of the tubular member is screwed to receive either a dust-cap o or the connexion from a pump by means of which air is forced through the port l past the elastic valve into the tyre. To deflate the tyre, the nut n is slackened and the member h depressed so as to move the port l clear of the elastic member m.
