Abstract
11,401. Hadden, G. M. May 16. Frames or shelters for plants.-An horticultural frame, with or without posts F, Fig. 3, is made with sliding joints so that the separate parts can be detachably connected without the use of screws or nails. The back and sides are joined as shown in plan in Fig. 6, a fillet e on the back c engaging between ledges d, f on the side a. The central joint is similarly formed, as shown in Fig. 10, and the sash bar k and ridge o fit into slots at the top of the central joints and the post E. The back and front may be lengthenedby adding one or more joints, Fig. 10. The removable glazed roof is supported by ledges on the battens k. When posts F are used, they are bolted to the back and front members c, b, and are fitted with fillets w on which bear the lower edges of the sides a and junction pillars.
