Abstract

The door frame assembly is formed by two uprights and a cross member at the top. The uprights and cross member abutting at a mitre. The cross member is provided at its ends with tenon members, these being received in grooves in the abutting forces of the uprights. The lower ends of the grooves are closed to allow correct positioning of the cross member, the tenons and grooves being of dovetail form. Once the uprights and crossmembers are positioned, the frame assembly may be secured by nails.
