Abstract

Gas-fires; air - heating gas stoves.-A gas stove which may be used alternatively as an air-heater or as a combination air-heater and gas fire comprises a group of incandescent bodies d beneath an air - beating casing a traversed by flues f, and a door h at front which is closed when the stove serves only for heating air. The incandescent bodies d are each set in a rectangular recess formed by shaping a reflector e. These recesses are closed at the front by the door, which thus forms with the reflector a series of flues each of which contains an incandescent body d. Air enters the stove from beneath, and parses behind the reflector e into the air-heating casing a, and in front of the reflector to the incandescent bodies d and to the flues f. The bodies d are substantially conical, and each has an independent burner c. An outlet g for the hot air is provided at the top of the stove.
