Abstract
22,207. Edwards, W. H. Sept. 30. Luggage-carriers.-A luggage or like carrier for cycles is provided with holder members in the form of tongues, fingers, or projections d, which are adapted to engage with a receptacle or article or with sockets h thereon, and have attachment means c, c<1> of such a character that the holder members may be adjustably and detachably secured upon the rods or tubes a of existing forms of carrier frames without necessitating any alteration of the frame. As shown in Fig. 1, a plate f of plywood is attached to a basket &c. by screws f<1>. Angle-irons, with inturned ends g for supporting the bottom of the basket &c., have sockets h riveted to them, the fingers &c. d engaging the sockets. When not required, the fingers &c. d may be swivelled back under the carrier by slightly loosening their attachment screws.
