Luggage-carriers. - In a carrier attachment for cycles, more particularly motor - cycles, a frame adapted to receive a valise or other luggage receptacle is formed of a number of vertical bars A, hooked at their upper ends B and bent outwards and then upwards at the bottom to form a supporting-clip C, D, and of horizontal bars E secured across the vertical bars and formed with bent ends F, G to fit around the front and rear ends of the receptacle. The attachment may be suspended from any horizontal support, but is particularly intended for use with the ordinary form of rear platform carrier J. For fastening the attachment to the bicycle frame a clamping-bar K arranged parallel with one of the horizontal bars is secured thereto by set-screws M or the like so that the cycle frame is clamped between the two bars. To accommodate receptacles of varying sizes the members of the attachment may be made extensible and the width of the clip portions adjustable, as by forming the members and clips in two overlapping lengths with screw-and-slot securing-means.
