Abstract

Fuse-boards; plug-boards. - A connexion device for electric circuits comprises insulating terminal blocks grouped side by side in a single row and two or more mutually insulated conductors arranged one above the other transverse to the blocks, each conductor being assigned to a proportion of the blocks in the row and connected to the terminal or terminals of the corresponding blocks by means of movable plugs. For a three-wire system the blocks are arranged in groups of three, A, B, C, and three conductors 2, 7, 9 are used. The blocks are mounted on a panel board between movable brackets G, each block being provided with two sockets I for the circuit terminals J, K and with a recess 1 to receive the conductors 2, 7, 9 and the insulating strips. Each of the sockets I is adapted to be closed by a plug which preferably comprises a cover 0 containing a contact-clip Q which receives one terminal cap of a cartridge fuse R, the opposite cap resting upon the contact-plate N in the socket. The contact-clip Q has an extension S which is adapted to engage a U-shaped contact-member mounted in the recess 1 and connected to one of the conductors. Plugs containing a simple U-shaped contact-member T, Fig. 5, may be used instead of fuse plugs.
