Abstract
13,506. Gustafsson, C. A., and Hede, O. A. July 20, 1911, [Convention date]. Posts.-Stayed wooden posts are constructed with a hook 2 at the upper end with which the wire 3 is engaged and then passed along the length of the pole and fastened towards the bottom as at 4 on the o t h e r side. Wedges 5, 6 keep the wire and post apart, and the pole is bedded in concrete 7. Distancepieces 8, bent as shown in Fig. 3, serve to keep the wire and post apart between the hook 2 and the ground.
