Wire fabrics. - In wire fabrics for fencing consisting of vertical stay-wires 9 twisted round horizontal wires 1, 2, the horizontals are bent as shown in Figs. 2 and 4 so that, on being tensioned, a torsional strain is produced in the stay-wires. The bent portions 8 of the wires lie in planes inclined to the plane of the fabric, and adjacent wires are bent in opposite directions.
