Abstract

101,848. Isebrands, H. June 17, 1916. Fencing posts and standards; wire fencing, securing to standards. -Tubular metallic wire-fence posts are formed with a ridge 2 provided with inclined or horizontal slots 4 in which the wires are inserted and retained by a vertical member 9 placed between the wires and the post. A head 11 is formed on the wire 9, which is locked in position by a wire loop 7 inserted in a slot 6 and twisted at the back to bend the retaining- wire 9 at the point 10. The end of the post may be bevelled at 12 to facilitate driving.
