7396. Blot, R. March 26. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Hand pumps; valveless pumps.-Apparatus for delivering a definite quantity of liquid soap &c., by means of a pumping action, comprises a reservoir h delivering to a cylinder a through a passage l shown in Fig. 1. A double piston p, p<1>, which is forced outwards by the spring o and inwards by the knob w, controls the inlet port l and outlet port n of the cylinder. When the piston is forced against the spring pressure, the liquid passes by way of the tube t and opening s to the annular chamber q communicating with the port n and nozzle m. Fig. 2 shows a modification wherein the port l lies between the pistons p, p<1>.
