Mattresses. - A spring mattress comprises laths H supported at each end by springs D and connected by cross-members G which are riveted to the outer laths H and interwoven with the remainder. Two of the cross-members have loops stamped out of them to receive and guide the laths H. Reference has been directed by the Comptooller to Specification 3495/81.
