Tents; shelters for housing aerial machines.-A tent for aeroplanes &c. is made T- shape in plan, and the ridge and eaves bars are suspended from poles c by overhead guyropes f, g. The front canvas a<1> may be drawn on rings to the sides, or raised up under the eaves bar, and can be secured by hooks to a line rove through eyes a<3> fixed in the ground. A strut i is suspended from the centre of the front eaves bar and short posts c<x> support the eaves bars at the back part of the tent. Guy-ropes d, h<1> steady the main poles c and a rear end pole h. In a modification, the bars are suspended from two main posts at the ends of the front part of the tent.
