Feeding-appliances. - Apparatus for mixing liquids, particularly applicable for the addition of chemicals to water, comprises a tank a from which the contained liquid is forced by compressed air from a pipe g through a regulating- cock c, drop-feed apparatus d, and a pipe e into the second liquid in a filter, tank, or pipe f. The air in excess of the quantity required for forcing the liquid from the vessel a passes direct through the pipe h to the apparatus d and through the pipe e to the pipe f, and there effects the mixing of the liquids.
