Mixing fluids in flow.-The water, sewage, or other liquid to be treated is passed through a Venturi pipe c, which is connected by valved pipes d, e to the lower and. upper ends respectively of a closed chemical vessel a, such as described in Specification 28,161/07, [Class 46, Filtering &c.]. The variation in the difference of pressure at the throat and entrance of the Venturi pipe regulates the supply of chemical in proportion to the liquid flow.
