Abstract
2721. Krupp Akt.-Ges., F. March 4, 1911, [Convention date]. Tyres, non-elastic, and rims; disk wheels.- The rim F, Fig. 2, of a wheel is of Z-shape, of which the outer limb f<1> forms the tread and, the inner limb f<2> a brake ring.. The wheel body may be formed of disks A, B with peripheral flanges a<1>, b<1> riveted or otherwise attached to the parts f<2>, f<1> respectively. The disks may be connected to hub flanges D, E and may have apertures stamped out to form spokes, the metal round the apertures being flanged in wards as shown at a<2>, b<2>, Fig. 3, and welded together.
