116,207. Rushton, T. H. Oct. 8, 1917. Spring wheels w i t h continuous outer rigid ring and pneumatic rubberr i n g and like cushions.-A wheel constructed of concentric metallic rims and resilient cushions, comprises pressed or stamped sheet - metal rings and disks. The outer sections are pressed or stamped so that by clamping two similar sections together as by the bolts 8 and wedges 9, there are formed concave seatings for the resilient members 26, 28. The central sections have ribs 16, 17, and a raised central portion 18, 21, with a series of holes 24 for attachment to the hub. A filling piece may be inserted between the portions 18, 21. Annular ribs or studs or projections engaging recesses or holes in the metal members as described in Specification 11673/11 may be provided.
