28,183. Ingram, J. D. Dec. 14. Agricultural tractors with internal-combustion engines.-Comprises a general arrangement of a tractor for agricultural purposes shown in plan in Fig. 2. The frame is broader at the rear, where there are a pair of Ackerman steering- wheels, than at the front end; which is supported by a broad-tyred driving-wheel made in two parts with the driving-sprocket between them. The engine is disposed transversely immediately behind the broad front wheel, and the cooler is situated above with the fuel-tank immediately in front. Behind the motor are arranged the change-speed and reversing gear, and driving-pulleys which can be clutched in when required. The arrangement also comprises a draught appliance designed so as to maintain the line of pull through the centre of the front wheel.
