M u l t i p l e fastenings for windows.-Relates to window holders of the type comprising a pair of spring bolts mounted on the sash and engaging racks on the windowframe. According to the invention, one spring bolt b is slotted to receive a pin i on one of a pair of racks h, while the other bolt b is formed with a pin b<1> engaging a slot j in the other rack, the racks h being engaged by a pinion f operated by a rotatable handle. Both bolts b are slotted at d, e to engage the screws which secure the bolt casing a to the sash; and instead of being simultaneously operated the bolts b may be operated by separate handles.
