Clutches, free-wheel.-A clutch for coupling a shaft to a surrounding driving-sleeve in a cream separator comprises a coil spring gripping the sleeve by friction and secured at one end to the shaft. The coils are arranged so that they close in and grip the sleeve when torque is being transmitted to the shaft, but open and release the sleeve when the shaft over-runs.
